Maybe it's me but calling France & Germany "Allies" seems to be a bit much given their actions of the past couple of years.
Too bad the networks didn't have crews spending the day with Chirac, Schroeder & Zapatero. Those films would be worth big bucks on Americans funniest videos.

I'm an American and I barely call myself an "ally". Be glad there are countries that actually listened to their pissed off citizenry and actually heed their wishes. Most of the countries that "support" Bush aren't supported by the majority of their inhabitants. There's the voice of the people for ya.
