Jewish voters

The guys at Powerline posted about Arafat's last best hope. The last line is

Yes, it is fairly easy to picture Arafat, sitting in his battered Ramallah compound hoping for a Kerry victory. Will Jewish voters in Miami, Philadelphia, and Cleveland give Kerry the margins he needs to become a White House regular again?

I agree that if Kerry is elected it might signal a return to the failed policies of trying to deal with Arafat. However I know several Jewish voters that will vote for Kerry no matter what. I was in a very spirited discussion a couple of weeks ago with one older Jewish lady who is of the mind that Israel is part of the problem in the Middle East. She is the typical East coast liberal and her ranting could have come straight from the DU. I also remember working with a similar lady several years ago with exactly the same views. I wish that I could say that their views are in the minority but I fear not. I don’t know what it will take for them to understand the threat posed by radical Islam.
