Kerry's stories

In the time leading up to the 2000 election it was discovered that Al Gore had a reputation for stretching the truth, and lets not forget Bill “I didn’t inhale or have sex with that woman” Clinton. Judging from the continued revelations regarding John Kerry’s past it would seem that trait is now a requirement for the democratic presidential candidates.

But we elected Bill. Twice.

This is very true, but don't forget the Perot factor in '92. His message was tailored directly at the people who generally vote Republican. I have long maintained that Perot wanted Bill Clinton elected and he found a perfectly legal way to get around any campaign finance laws. In 96 the republicans deserved to lose as they made the same mistake that the Dems are making this year. They put up a mediocre candidate who tried to run as the “anti-Clinton”.

Are you mad, man? We have a president who has been dancing his way around issues from the beginning. He's flip-flopped on every possible issue imaginable, from nation-building to free trade to states' rights on marriage, to the UN, etc. etc. He seriously inflated the evidence on Iraq, and in a few cases, outright made up stuff. I don't know whether it was HIM or his staff, but HE's responsible. Bob Woodward asked him if he was misled, or he misled us. He said "No" and "No." So not only is he not trustworthy, he also ain't the brightest kid on the block, and this is a critical time in our nation's history. This is one of those rare moments in the history of a nation where we actually have the choice to blow ourselves up and destroy the world generations of Americans have spent meticulously building. That may sound like an overstatement, and I wish it was. This president is JUST THAT INCOMPETENT. I'm not a Democrat, but I'm not a rah-rah baton-twirler either. I tell it like I see it, and I hate to hate a president, but this man is bad for America.

Was Bill Clinton a liar? Yup. A sleazeball too. But why do people extrapolate from that that all Democrats are liars? It amazes me. Nixon was a liar, so all Republicans must be liars. Why bother even voting?
